Description

In the Traveling Fool drawing the woman represents knowledge and has the key to the kingdom. The man represents youth and the ability to be anything you want. The key is for him to unlock the many doors he will go through. Like Jim Morrison said we go through many doors in our life. Sometimes we go through the wrong door. Edwards created this piece when he was 20 years old and it was a self portrait of himself and his dog. In his 20’s Edwards was creating pieces faster than usual, he was on a self-proclaimed binge. It just came out of him at this point in his life.Traveling Fool is a drawing about the journey to the unknown. A statement about making the right choices. Day after day we make decisions that will affect our lives down the road.
