Midnight Wedding In Japan

Midnight Wedding In Japan

0 out of 5

The Midnight Wedding In Japan painting was inspired by Edwards’ neighbor who lived in Japan during WWII. She was from a small town in America with a large Japanese population, and was a nurse in Japan after the atomic bomb. The painting is about her best friend who was a Japanese woman who had a wedding at midnight. It was very rare for an American to be included in this, but she was respected because she spoke fluent Japanese. Edwards has always been fascinated by Japanese culture.
